I am a Ph.D. student in the computational seismology lab.

Where are you from?

I was born and raised in a town called Obuasi in Ghana, West Africa.

What got you interested in Earth and Environmental Sciences?

As a kid, my favorite classes in school were mostly Earth science related ones. So I sort of figured I had a natural curiosity for the subject and stuck with it.

What do you enjoy most about U of R? 

U of R has excellent research opportunities. I also feel fortunate to have the opportunity to learn from and interact with experts in the various fields of Earth science.

Do you have any hidden talents or hobbies?

Welp, I can move my ears without touching them. Also, I can solve a Rubik's cube.

Who inspires you?

I do draw a lot of inspiration from my dad. He has been my biggest fan and has always been there to provide guidance and support when I need it.
