They are now working towards their PhD in the Nilsson group, where their research focuses on using solid-state NMR to characterize the structure of self-assembled systems. They proudly identify as both queer and non-binary, and hope to continue their advocacy here on campus and beyond. Currently they are the Secretary of the University’s outGRADS group, which has been recognized as an affiliate chapter of oSTEM.
