J Simmons
J. Simmons is an actor, director, fight choreographer and private acting coach currently residing in Rochester NY. He has studied theatre and vocal training for 32 yrs and 27 yrs experience in professional and regional theater locally and nationally. He has created multiple summer camps, theatre/acting programs and has done hundreds of master classes at area schools and colleges over the past 20yrs. His masterclasses range from Acting Techniques, Fight Choreo, Motivational Speaking and Theatre Career classes. He currently also specializes in audition prep for theatrical college auditions and programs. He has received a Certificate of Excellence for Fight Choreography from The Kennedy Center in DC for his fight choreo work. In addition to running his own acting studio and stage combat/stunt business, he serves as the drama instructor for the Rochester Broadway Theatre League. He currently is an adjunct professor at The UR International Theatre Program, as an acting/vocal coach as well as the Stage Combat instructor.
