Jacob Rose '24

Jacob Rose e5 '25 is a keyboardist, music director, arranger, and keyboard programmer from Owings Mills, MD. He is currently studying Business Information Systems at the University of Rochester, and is completing a fifth year as a part of the e5 program. The spring 2025 production of Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812 is his e5 project.

On campus, he has arranged, played for, and conducted a variety of productions with Off Broadway On Campus and ROC Players. He was most recently seen conducting Chicago in spring 2024. He has also served as the accompanist for the University of Rochester Concert Choir, directed by Julie Covach, and pianist for the University of Rochester Symphony Orchestra, under the batons of Dr. Rachel Waddell and Dr. Mark Powell.

He has also served as a Teaching Assistant for Musical Theatre Performance and Skills classes since Spring 2023, under Zachary Peterson in the fall semesters, and Nigel Maister and Joseph Janover in the spring. He also works as the accompanist for Pittsford Sutherland High School, playing for their spring musicals.

Upcoming gigs include the regional premiere of The Boy From Oz at OFC Creations Theatre Center this September, and Rock of Ages this October with the Webster Theatre Guild.
