Brendan Connelly
Brendan Connelly is a composer and sound designer and co-founder of the Obie-winning Two-headed Calf (with director Brooke O'Harra) and has composed scores for all of its productions. He has an ongoing collaboration with PearlDamour, including music for Lost In The Meadow, Milton and How To Build a Forest. As a performer, he recently premiered Appalachian Spring Breaka dance piece with Scotty Heron. He has worked with directors Anne Kaufmann, Pam MacKinnon, Aimee Hayes, Roger Babb, Gisela Cardenas, Ian Belton and David Levine. His music has been performed by Yarn/Wire, S.E.M. Ensemble, Wet Ink, Hunter-Gatherer and Timetable Percussion. He has received three Meet-The-Composer grants, two NYSCA composer commissions, and was a participant in the 2009-11 TCG/NEA Career Development Program in Sound Design. Brendan received his MFA from Bard College.
