Suganya Schmura, 3rd year PhD student, presented a paper titled "From polyglossia to ethnic identity: language and identity in the Malayalee diaspora" at the 9th International Conference on Language Documentation & Conservation (ICLDC9), on March 6-9, 2025 at the University of Hawaii at Manoa in Honolulu, Hawaii. This work is a collaborative project with Associate Professor, Maya Abtahian.
