Citation for Achievement in College Leadership

The Citation for Achievement in College Leadership Program offers students the opportunity to develop their leadership skills through “leadership experiences” that combine specific academic study with a related practical application.

Qualified students can propose to devote as much as an entire academic year to internships, special projects, relevant coursework, business plan development, research into various facets of entrepreneurship, or analysis of how culture and public policy influence entrepreneurial activity.

Music Lessons at Eastman

Arts and sciences students can apply to take lessons at the world-renowned Eastman School of Music. Students must have an intermediate level of proficiency can apply for instrumental/voice lessons, or ensembles.

Rochester Urban Fellows

Rochester Urban Fellows is a 10-week summer program that engages local undergraduates in fellowships with community organizations, faculty- and community-led urban issue dialogues, and community events.

Rochester Youth Year

Rochester Youth Year is an AmeriCorps VISTA-sponsored year of service that matches recent graduates from local area colleges with community agencies to create, expand, or sustain initiatives that alleviate the effects of poverty on Rochester youth and families.

Take5

Take5 students take one or two additional semesters, tuition free, to pursue disciplines or courses outside of their discipline that wouldn’t have been available to them otherwise.
