Huo Awarded ACS OpenEye Outstanding Junior Faculty Award

Pengfei “Frank” Huo, Assistant Professor of Chemistry, has been awarded the ACS OpenEye Outstanding Junior Faculty Award in Computational Chemistry. Professor Huo is one for four outstanding tenure-track junior faculty members to be selected. He presented his work titled, "Quasi-Diabatic Propagation Scheme for on-the-fly Quantum Dynamics Simulations," at the national ACS Meeting held virtually this past August.
The Awards are designed to assist new faculty members in gaining visibility within the COMP community. Award certificates and $1,000 prizes and were presented by the ACS Division of Computers in Chemistry (COMP) during the ACS Fall 2020 Virtual Meeting & Expo.
