Biography

Virginia Monte is a theatrical director, designer and theorist currently based in the Rochester area. She has designed and developed theater for Off-Broadway, Off-off-Broadway, Regional and International Theater companies. She has a BA from Stetson University in Fine Art (Painting) with minors in Theater Art and Art History. Virginia studied with the Lorenzo D'Medici Program in Florence, Italy. In 2014 she will be completing her MA in Directing of Classic and Contemporary Text from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. In 2011 Virginia was the National Youth Theater Awards recipient for Most Outstanding Costume Design.
