2020 Craig Owens Memorial Lecture

Professor da Silva is the author of Toward a Global Theory of Race and many other important writings on the question of the subject in global modernity. Professor da Silva is also Professor and Director at the Social Justice Institute, Senior Faculty Fellow of St. John's College, and a 2019 Wall Scholar at the Peter Wall Institute for Advanced Studies at the University of British Columbia. She is also Adjunct Professor in the Department of Fine Arts at Monash University, Visiting Professor of Law at Birkbeck-University London, and Editor at the Living Commons Press.
