The Midwest International Trade and Theory Conference is comprised of an economic theory meeting and an international trade meeting. Both meetings have a long tradition dating back more than 40 years and attract academics from around the world with many presenters traveling from outside the U.S.
Conference Program
The fall 2024 Midwest Economic Theory and International Trade Conference will be held Octber 18–20 at the University of Rochester, in Rochester, NY. More information about the program will be posted as it becomes available.
Conference Submissions
There is no submission fee. Use the links below to submit papers for the meetings. Submissions will be accepted until August 24 at 11:59 p.m.

The full conference schedule will be posted as it becomes available. The conference is expected to start at 2 p.m. on Friday and end at noon on Sunday.

Registration
There is NO fee for registration. Registration opens September 6, 2024.

Getting There
The Greater Rochester Airport is the closest airport. The Buffalo and Syracuse airports are about an hour’s drive away. Taxi, Uber, Lyft, or car rental are all available from the airport. Parking information will be posted soon for those who plan to drive.
Hotel Information
A block of rooms has been reserved at several locations. The booking deadline is September 18, 2024. The Hilton Garden Inn and Staybridge are a 10-minute walk to campus. The Strathallan is 10-minute cab ride.
