Data Science Snacks Meeting Series

Data science snacks is an informal meeting series for graduate students and post-docs interested in data science. They offer students the opportunity to host informal presentations, open up discussions about ongoing work, and call for collaboration. The meetings are another step in our effort to build and maintain a strong data science research community on campus.

Meeting structure:

  • One or two graduate or post-docs volunteers to organize meetings every year.
  • Monthly meetings each semester.
  • 20-25 minute presentation at each meeting, followed by open discussion.

How to Get Involved

Data science snacks is open to all graduate students and post-docs at the University of Rochester and in the Rochester community. We encourage University faculty members to promote the series with their graduate students and post-docs. To volunteer or participate in the meeting series, subscribe to our mailing list.
