The University of Rochester’s Goergen Institute for Data Science, Rochester Center of Excellence in Data Science, Rochester Center for Health Informatics, Clinical and Translational Science Institute, Center for Integrated Research and Computing, are sponsoring:

Join University faculty, students, staff, and other “techies” to collaborate intensively on solutions to current healthcare related data problems. As a follow-up to the ROCHD3 event last fall, this event will try to solve some of the obstacles discussed, as Hackers will form teams to compete in solutions to specific problems on the following data sets:

• Hospital readmissions
• Identification of physician prescribing patterns
• Identification / visualization of physician teaming practices

This 2 1/2 day event will be a fun and exciting educational experience generating potentially high-impact solutions to problems that both public and private researchers are currently facing.

• Prizes awarded to the winning teams in each category
• Registration is FREE (but required)
• Teams should register together and individuals requiring a team are welcome
