Join us to celebrate Susan B. Anthony's Birthday

Join us in a celebration of Susan B. Anthony's 194th birthday. This year students nominated Alexandra Poindexter, class of 2015, as our guest of honor to place yellow roses (a symbol of suffrage) on Anthony's grave and deliver a statement. On Saturday, February 15 at 12:00pm we will meet at Anthony's grave in Mount Hope Cemetery. We will reconvene in the Welles-Brown Room in Rush Rhees Library for a tea and cake reception. Please RSVP to by Thursday February 13 to let us know if you plan to attend. Mount Hope Cemetery borders on the University River Campus. Anthony's grave, Plot #93, is located in Section C. Parking at the University is free on Saturdays, and is free at Mount Hope Cemetery. If you don't have transportation from the University, please let us know as we will be able to drive a handful of people.
