Register for ECO 493: Master's Essay, and for selected workshops
TA
Research and write the third-year paper
Present third-year paper in appropriate seminar/reading group
Submit third-year paper signed by your advisor (by July 1st)

Fourth Year

Fall
Submit Dissertation Prospectus—October 15 deadline

Fall/Spring
Register for ECO 595: PhD Research in Economics, and for selected workshops
TA
Register for ECO 997: Doctoral Dissertation (if needed to maintain full-time status)

Fifth-Sixth Years

Register for ECO 999: Doctoral Dissertation
Work on papers and go to conferences (with the permission of advisors)
