C.A.S.H. (Collaborative Arts Stipend in-Hand)

The Institute for the Performing Arts is pleased to announce a call for proposals from a new program called C.A.S.H. (Collaborative Arts Stipend in-Hand).

This is a mini-grant program to encourage and support creative performing arts projects and activities. Priority is given to projects that focus on collaborative endeavors originating or taking place at the University of Rochester that involve more than one discipline within the arts or between the arts and disciplines outside of the arts. Artists involved in collaboration must include at least one river campus performing arts student or entity. Groups who receive Student Activities funding are not eligible for this funding. Most awards will not exceed $100 except in special cases where maximum funding will reach no more than $250. The Institute for the Performing Arts hopes to grow this program and therefore the size of the awards possible over the next few years. The Institute is committed to funding up to 10 projects in the 2018–2019 academic year.

If you receive C.A.S.H. funding, you agree to:

  1. Include the following credit line, accompanied by the IPA wordmark, on all online or printed marketing materials: This project is supported by the University of Rochester's Institute for the Performing Arts.
  2. Submit a one page post-project report within 30 days of the completion of the project/performance.
  3. Submit supplementary materials including a copy of the flyer, poster, program or other printed materials (with the funding credit).
