. . PhD (Education), Rochester, 2011; JD, Cornell, 1991. Director of the Law and Bioethics Theme at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. Teaches, primarily in the medical school, on the intersection of law and health care, medical judgment and decision-making, and bioethics. Current research explores coaching as a form of instruction and as a component of medical ethics education and issues in applied ethical decision-making in health care. Previously, she held a Clinical Ethics Fellowship at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. She co-founded and served as Director of the Computer Policy and Law Program, Cornell University (now the EDUCAUSE/Cornell Institute for Computer Policy and Law).
