National Water Dance Project

April 16, 2016
04:00 PM - 06:00 PM
University of Rochester, River Campus

The National Water Dance Project is a collective of dance artists and educators stretching from coast to coast and from Alaska to Florida who are creating a "movement choir," a simultaneous, site-specific performance of dancers and movers of all ages and experience, to bring attention to the pressing issues of water in the United States. The UR Program of Dance & Movement's contributing performance features choreography created by UR students and faculty and staged on the banks of the Genesee River, and will be nationally podcast.
