Minor in Statistics

The minor in statistics requires five courses in statistics:

  • STAT 180 (formerly STAT 212), STAT 190 (formerly STAT 213), or equivalent 
  • STAT 275, STAT 276, or STAT 277 (CSC 171 or CSC 172 may be permitted with advisor permission)
  • Three additional 200-level STAT courses.

Students must achieve an overall grade of C or better in the courses being used for the minor.

A cluster in statistics requires three courses in statistics. There are currently two clusters in statistics:

Actuarial Studies Certificate
