December 2018 – May 2020 Dr. Kelsey M. Stocker; Investigating the thermodynamics and kinetics of two proposed four-step mechanisms for the production of dimethylsilanediol from hydroxyl radicals and volatile methylsiloxanes.
Current Research
My current research in the Fasan group involves dehaloperoxidase (DHP), a new metalloprotein scaffolds that can potentially be used to achieve high degrees of activity and selectivity for cyclopropanation of electron deficient olefins.
