Current Research
My current research in the Nilsson Group seeks to design, synthesize, and characterize novel self-assembling peptides that feature non-canonical amino acids and are stimuli responsive. This project further aims to provide insight into the rational design of supramolecular peptide systems and impart precise control over the resulting properties. In another project, I am investigating the role of peptide length on the emergent secondary structures.
