Department Welcomes New Faculty Member

Professor Llerena Searle has joined the department in Fall 2014.

An expert in the study of urbanization in contemporary India, Prof. Searle will teach ANT 104, Contemporary Issues and Anthropology and ANT 268, Science, Culture, and Expertise during the Fall semester. Prior to coming to Rochester, Searle was Visiting Assistant Professor of Anthropology at Williams College. She earned her PhD from the University of Pennsylvania in 2010.
