Postdoctoral Fellowship

2026-2028

The Skalny Center for Polish and Central European Studies invites applications for a two-year postdoctoral fellowship beginning in fall 2026.

Applications are welcome in any area of international or comparative politics. While the fellowship is housed at the Skalny Center, applicants' research does not need to focus specifically on Poland or Central Europe. International applicants are welcome.

Fellows are expected to offer one course during each academic year.

Applicants who have not yet completed their PhD should describe their plans for completing the degree by the time the fellowship commences.

  • Letter of application
  • Curriculum vitae
  • Research project description (3-5 pages)
  • One-page sketch of a proposed course
  • One or more writing samples
  • Three letters of recommendation (should be sent directly by recommenders to the same email address)
