Ross Knapper

Ross graduated from the PPCM program in 2013. He served as the assistant collection manager before being promoted to collection manager in 2015. As manager of the photography collection, he oversees daily care as well as long term preservation activities. His previous experience includes Visual Resource Specialist for the Public Affairs Office, Bureau of Reclamation, and an internship with the Archives of Ontario. Prior to his career in photographic preservation, Ross was a project manager and environmental permit reviewer for both county and state environmental agencies.

Research interests: photographic materials and processes, history of photography, construction of photographic housings, environmental management, and integrated pest management
