Early Modern Nahuatl Workshop
Early Modern Nahuatl Workshop (EMNW) (ongoing series) is an ongoing series where participants can learn about early manuscript traditions in the Americas and how to read the pictographic writing of the Aztecs with Alanna Radlo-Dzur (Department of Art and Art History). This workshop is open to students and faculty.
- In person: September 16 and December 9 at 1 p.m. (Location TBA)
- On zoom: September 30 and November 11 at 1 p.m.
A series of presentations on recent research on Indigenous manuscript traditions of the Americas including introductions to the documents held by the Princeton University Library currently being studied for the Translating Mesoamerica project in collaboration with Nadia Cervantes-Pérez (Princeton).
GRUPO
GRUPO is a working group for faculty and graduate students affiliated with LACX (Latin American, Caribbean, and Latinx Studies). The Humanities Center provides support for an interdisciplinary space that is well balanced with faculty and graduate students across departments. Monthly workshop dialogues proved critical in helping participants advance research across various disciplines.
