Film and Media Studies Mini-Grant

The Film and Media Studies Mini-Grant provides support to student filmmakers for projects conducted outside the context of coursework. It is intended to help with costs of production expenses such as transportation, food, or rentals of equipment not available through University of Rochester.

Any undergraduate student enrolled at the University of Rochester is eligible to apply. Recipients are chosen by the director of the Film and Media Studies Program based upon the viability of the project. Projects that demonstrate a feasible scope and concept and a clear timeline to completion will be prioritized for mini-grant support.
