I have worked at the University of Rochester since 2008; I was promoted to the position of associate professor in 2015. My appointment is in the Department of Religion and Classics, and I am on the steering committee for the Program in Archaeology, Technology, and Historical Structures. My teaching is focused on Mediterranean archaeology, ancient history, and Latin, and my research interests are in Italic and Roman archaeology, ancient Roman religion, early Rome, and archaeological ethics.
