Research

Research is currently focused on three major areas:

  • Wolbachia and Other Inherited Microorganisms
  • Genetics of Reproductive Isolation and Morphological Differences Between Species
  • Genetic Conflict and the Evolution of "Selfish" or "Parasitic" DNA

    Other areas of interest include population genetics of insects, sex ratio evolution and biological control.
