Jacob Rose '24

JacobRose '24 has been playing piano since he was 6 years old. His passion for music started at a young age, thanks in part to his family. His mother is a classically-trained pianist, and his uncle is a classically-trained violinist. In the spring of 2016, he won the Music-Fest International Rising Talents Competition and a spot in a recital at Carnegie Hall.

On campus, Jacob serves as the accompanist for the Concert Choir and the pianist for the University of Rochester Symphony Orchestra. He is also a member of Off Broadway On Campus, ROC Players, and No Jackets Required, playing keyboard and writing musical arrangements for the groups’ showcases.

In addition to music, Jacob is currently pursuing a Business degree with minors in Music and Audio and Music Engineering. He also has a passion for the culinary arts.  He would like to thank Christian Couture everyone at the International Theatre Program for this amazing opportunity.
