Research Overview

I am currently interested in the development of coping and learning skills, such as resilience, grit, and perseverance. I am especially interested in how these skills develop in children who grow up in poverty, experience trauma, and attend schools i underserved areas. I am also interested in how the development of these skills impacts children's social-emotional development and later school adjustment.
