Current research develops statistical methods for analyzing strategic decision making and applies those methods to issues in international conflict. Publications have appeared in the American Journal of Political Science, the American Political Science Review, International Interactions, International Studies Quarterly, the Journal of Conflict Resolution, and Political Analysis. Research and teaching interests are in political methodology and in international conflict.
