Homework 2 due 2pm Monday October 18: Rotman 1.3, 1.5. 1.10, 1.11, 1.13, 1.19, 1.21 and 1.22.
Homework 3 due 2pm Monday November 2: Rotman 4.2, 4.3, 4.8, 4.10, and 4.12.
Homework 4 due 2pm Monday November 16: Rotman 4.13, 4.14, 6.1, 6.3, 6.4, and 6.8.
Homework 5 due 2pm Monday December 7: From Weibel's book on Homological algebra (which is available on my archive), 8.1.2, 8.1.3, 8.1.4 (page 258), 8.1.5, 8.1.6 (page 259), 8.2.2 (page 261), 8.2.3, 8.2.4 and 8.2.5 (page 262). In 8.2.3 do only the first part, showing that the n-simplex is not a Kan complex for n>0. The statement that a nonconstant Kan complex must have nondegenerate simplex in every diemnsion is false.
