"Beyond Windmills: Commemorating Cervantes, Representing Don Quixote"

Wednesday, November 16 @ 10:25–11:40 am
Humanities Center, 212 Rush Rhees Library, River Campus

To commemorate the 400th anniversary of Miguel de Cervantes’ death, the students from the course, “Don Quixote: The Book, the Myth, the Image,” will present their work on the student-curated exhibit, also titled Beyond Windmills, on display in the Department of Rare Books and Special Collections through December 11. The event will also feature a few Modern Languages and Cultures faculty members' comments on the influence of Cervantes’ work on literature beyond the Spanish-speaking world.

This event is free and open to the public.

If you require special accommodations (e.g., wheelchair access, ASL interpretation), please contact Joshua Boydstun (585-275-4252; joshua.boydstun@rochester.edu) by Monday, November 14.
