Access to care is currently limited by distance and disability. Simple, inexpensive technology can increasingly connect patients to care. This talk will highlight current and future such applications. Funded by PCORI, we are conducting a national Randomized Controlled Trial of telemedicine for Parkinson Disease. We are also exploring the use of smartphones to measure symptoms and provide feedback to patients.
