Undergraduate Program
Advising Week
Each semester, leading up to registration, there is an advising period so that students can learn about academic opportunities, and prepare for registration. This year, the advising period falls between November 9th - December 10th. Because of the current need for social distancing, the Chemistry Department invites students to meet via Zoom with chemistry faculty, staff, and peer advisors.
Students are encouraged to discuss chemistry courses, registration, planning a major or minor, transfer credit*, and other general chemistry questions. No appointment is necessary for the times posted below.
Please Note:
- *Transfer credit/Course Approval Forms need to be signed by either Deb Contestabile or Professor David McCamant, and can be handled via email. Please email course information prior to meeting if possible.
- Major/minor declaration: All members of the Chemistry Undergraduate Studies Committee, including the Undergraduate Program Coordinator (Deb Contestabile), can approve a major or minor.
