Amy Rubin

Amy Rubin is a designer of environments for theatre, opera, dance and live events. At University of Rochester she designed  Mother Courage and her Children directed by Nigel Maister.  Other Recent Credits: Miles for Mary (The Mad Ones); Mönster Outside (Sidra Bell Dance); Aging Magician a collaboration with Julian Crouch (BethMorrisonProjects); All The Fine Boys (The New Group); Quiet, Comfort (Hoi Polloi); Ike at Night (Under the Radar); The Wholehearted (Stein/Holum Projects); The Rape of Lucretia (Curtis Opera) and multiple TED Conferences in 2016. She creates interactive events for MTV, Comedy Central, Spike TV and Nickelodeon. Her design work has been at Playwrights Horizons, Signature Theatre, The Public, New Victory Theater, Baryshnikov Arts Center, La Jolla Playhouse, Walker Arts Center, MASSMoCA, Bushwick Starr, HERE Arts, The Flea, Cherry Lane, 3LD, Juilliard, NYU. Received her MFA from NYU.
