Profile:

PhD, New York University, 2022 (expected). American politics, political economy, criminal justice politics. Sidak Yntiso conducts research on the role of political institutions in shaping racial and ethnic inequities, focusing on racial disparities in criminal justice and electoral representation. His work, which leverages computational data science tools, recent advances in causal inference, and insights from formal theory, has been published or is forthcoming at the Journal of Politics, the Journal of Legal Studies, Political Analysis, and other journals.
