This Oscar nominated documentary is a fascinating history lesson told through the eyes of animals--the unknown story of the thou- sands of wild rabbits who found a safe haven within the confines of the Berlin Wall. Protected from outside threats but also unable to escape, the rabbit community thrived in isolation for twenty- eight years until the Wall came down. Unfortunately one day the wall fell down. Rabbits had to abandon comfortable system. They moved to West Berlin and have been living there in a few colo- nies since then. They are still learning how to live in the free world, same as other citizens of Eastern Europe.
