Hear directly from fellow alumni who are currently operators and investors in the content creation and distribution space about the current state of the media market and how they see it evolving. Topics discussed will include the state of cable operators and channels in the current environment, and the threat of the skinny bundle; the emergence of large tech companies interest and planned investment in original content; the pursuit of high priced short form digital content for social media platforms; the current expected state of play for the theatrical film market; the impact of subscription based OTT players on the traditional media consumption and pricing model; and the convergence of key media players, including wireless carriers, as they seek to become the creator and distributor of content to the consumer on any device.
