Helen Ann Robbins Lecture Series presents Susanna Throop

Susanna Throop, professor of History at Ursinus College, will give a talk entitled "Christus victor: Crucifixion and Christian Violence in First Crusade Narratives." Her presentation involves a new primary source analysis on the role of the crucifixion in First Crusade (1095–1099) narrative sources. Dr. Throop was selected for this year's Helen Ann Robbins Lecture Series, an annual event established to host important researchers working in a wide range of medieval studies.
