The AS&E Dean’s Office for Research and The Humanities Center proudly present a full day proposal writing workshop with guest speaker Carrie Miller, entitled: Foundation Center: Humanities Proposal Writing Workshop on Friday, May 6, 2013 from 9:00am-4:00pm in Hawkins Carlson Room, Rush Rhees Library.

Do you want to understand the components of a competitive foundational grant proposal, discover what grantmakers consider “red flags,” and learn how to use the tools and harness the resources of The Foundation Center? Then this workshop is for you! A UR faculty panel of grant awardees will also share their wisdom about how they succeeded at garnering foundational funding. This workshop is particularly focused on the Humanities and Humanistic Social Sciences faculty, grad students, and postdocs. Lunch will be served.
