Paths to Research: Faculty, Student, and Staff Experiences

March 14, 2016
02:00 PM - 03:00 PM
Carlson Student Research Space

The Carlson Student Research Space is hosting a conversation about the realities of undergraduate research on Monday, March 14, at 2pm with Prof. Stuart Jordan from the Department of Political Science and Prof. Thomas Hahn and Sophie Hatch '16 from the Department of English, joined by Josh Romphf, Programmer in the Digital Humanities Center.

Our panelists will discuss their working relationships, paths to research as an undergraduate, and what humanities and social sciences faculty are looking for in prospective undergraduate research assistants. This conversation will be most relevant to undergraduates and those who work with them on research, and all members of the University community are welcome.

The conversation will be hosted by the Carlson Student Research Space on the first floor of Carlson Library, outside the VISTA Collaboratory. RSVPs are encouraged, but not required:
