Russ Kociuba serves as Solutions Architect for the Rochester Data Science Consortium. In his role he collaborates with research scientists and engineers to develop solutions to meet partner needs. He provides technical thought leadership as well as the ability to apply software development principals to solve complex data science problems.
Prior to joining the Consortium, Russ worked as a software engineer and architect at Thomson Reuters in the Research and Development department. He worked on numerous projects in the areas of document classification, document clustering, information retrieval and recommendation systems. He holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
