Microsoft Intelligent Network for Eye care (MINE) is a mission-driven global consortium of like-minded commercial, research and academic institutions who have joined forces to apply artificial intelligence to help in the elimination of avoidable blindness and scale delivery of eye care services worldwide. The University of Rochester Medical Center’s Flaum Eye Institute is one of the five institutions partnering with Microsoft in this international initiative.
