Startup Weekend EDU (SWEDU) is a 54-hour event where educators, students, entrepreneurs, developers, designers, and startup enthusiasts come together to share ideas, form teams, and create the best learning opportunities for others. Recognizing that education entrepreneurs face unique problems that require unique solutions, SWEDU helps people launch and scale education ventures no matter where they are in their entrepreneurial journey. Startup Weekend EDU Rochester will be held on November 21-23, 2014 at Radisson Hotel Rochester Riverside. Online registration is now open. A fee applies. All current students can register for $50 under the “Student” ticket option. Additionally, UR students who register are eligible to be reimbursed an additional $25 by contacting the Center for Entrepreneurship.
