This track examines the origins of international and civil armed conflict and persistent dilemmas in international cooperation. Students gain the historical background and analytic tools necessary to understand global events. Course offerings span the topics of war, foreign policy, and international organizations, as well as emerging problems in human security such as terrorism and transnational migration.
